Hope in Christ
There have been many times in life where my world is spinning out of control. Times where I’ve totally lost who I am and where I’m headed. Times where I can’t even find God in the midst of my tragedies. There are times I feel forsaken and alone. I feel crippled by the fear of the future and what it may hold. There are questions that constantly flood my mind and keep my up at night. The fear can be so heavy that I can’t even move. Where can I turn? How do I get out of this?
Fear has a way of keeping our attention on ourselves. We focus on our situations and how bad off we are rather than a way out. I’ve been down and out more times than I can count. I’ve felt beaten and defeated for years. But I’ve always found the strength to get back up in God. He is the only one that can pull you up. No inspirational quote is going to save you. No song is going to be your savior. No pastor is going to pull you through the flames. God is the only person that can save you.
If you find yourself afraid, turn to God. He is in complete control of your life and the entire universe. He knows everything that is going to happen to you and He loves you. He has your best interest in mind. He is your father and knows everything about you. Never let that become a normality. Never get used to God’s love. His love is the only thing holding this world together. His love can get you through anything. There is always hope in Christ.
